A Gainesville man was charged with speeding, DUI-drugs and possession of THC oil following a traffic stop Monday morning near Lanier Elementary School.
HCSO NARRATIVE:
“Just after 7:15 a.m., a Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) patrol deputy stopped Daniel Restrepo, 24, after he observed Mr. Restrepo traveling at 52 mph in a 35 mph speed zone… The investigation at the scene determined Mr. Restrepo was driving under the influence of an illegal substance. Mr. Restrepo was in possession of a single THC vape in his pants pocket.
Mr. Restrepo was transported to the Hall County Jail on the misdemeanor charges listed above. He was released on a bond of $7,130 later in the day.”
