*A 22-year-old man is facing charges of statutory rape, among other things, following his arrest Friday afternoon. Other charges include two counts of Aggravated Child Molestation. And he is also on an immigration “hold” while sitting in a Hall County Jail cell without bond.
*A 48-year-old man was being held in the county jail in lieu of $13,000 bond after he was arrested Friday on charges of Owning/Operating/Conducting a Chop Shop, a place where stolen automobiles are stripped of parts which are then sold.
*Charges of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and Entering an Auto to Commit Theft have been lodged against a 34-year-old man who was arrested Friday and is being held in the Hall County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling 11,400.
*A 32-year-old woman is being held without bond on several traffic-related charges as well as Forgery in the First Degree and Probation Violation and Giving Police a False Name.
*The sheriff’s department has opened an investigation into an allegation of sexual battery regarding an incident that occurred Thursday and Friday.
*A traffic stop early Friday morning led to drug trafficking charges against a 19-year-old man who is being held in the Hall County Jail without bond. He is also facing a Possession of Illegal Drugs charge as well as a number to traffic-related charges.
*And drug distribution and other drug charges have been filed against a 19-year-old man who is being held without bond.
