State elections board chair sounds off

(GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK) – Georgia’s state elections board chair is criticizing Republican members of the group.

John Fervier told the AJC this week that the board doesn’t need to create new laws and should stay within its boundaries.

This comes after the Republican-majority passed rules recently that allow inquiries before election certification and a hand count of paper ballots.

There are lawsuits against those rulings being considered in court this week.
