Hall County’s Community Development and Infrastructure departments will temporarily relocate to 2829 Browns Bridge Road as of Jan. 20, due to renovations of the third floor of the Hall County Government Center.
Departments moving include:
· Building Inspections
· Business Licenses
· Development Services
· Environmental Health
· Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization
· GIS
· Marshal’s Office
· Planning and Zoning
· Public Works and Utilities
These departments will be located at the building previously known as “The Furniture Store” to ensure services to citizens remain available and accessible throughout the renovation.
Accommodations to the building, temporarily named the “Hall County Government Center Annex,” are currently being made to provide customer service windows for all public-facing interactions, and additional parking will be available at the Government Center. The building and property were bought by the county earlier this year.
Phone numbers, emails and online services will be unaffected by the move.
