Deputies with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to the 4300 block of Harold Whelchel Road just before 12:45 p.m. Friday after the pilot of a small plane made an emergency landing in an open field.
Two people were on board the aircraft. Neither was injured. The plane did not appear to be damaged. There was no damage to the property.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) was notified and at the time of this report, FAA personnel were on the way to the scene to conduct an investigation.
