Two women, one 18 and the other 19, were arrested Wednesday night and charged with shoplifting $180 worth of merchandise from WalMart on Shallowford Road, according to Gainesville Police spokesman Kevin Holbrook.
Delightful Unique Edwards, the 19-year-old, and Jhakerrionna Ambranique Canty, were both still in the Hall County Jail early Thursday afternoon. Each was being held on bonds of $1,422.
In a separate case, two people, Angelo Stan Brown, 57, and Ernestine J. Braxton, 44, have each been charged with Financial Transaction Card Fraud in connection with incidents Tuesday at a business in the 1200 block of Dawsonville Highway, Capt. Holbrook said. Both are also charged with Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property.
They were each still in jail early Thursday afternoon. Braxton’s bond has been set at $12,500. Brown is being held on $6,100 bond.
