A Celebration of life will be held Sunday for Danny Dunagan, former Gainesville City Councilman and the city’s first elected mayor.
The service will be at 3:00 at Gainesville First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
Dunagan died earlier this week just over a month after he resigned from the council because of unspecified health reasons.
