The search was continuing Monday for a driver who left the scene of a fatal accident in Habersham County over the weekend.
State troopers say it happened on Georgia Highway 17 when Robert Reeves, 63, who was pushing a bicycle, was struck and killed. Investigators have not been able to determine if Reeves, who was from Clarkesville, was on the shoulder or in the roadway. They also don’t know the make or model of the vehicle that was involved.
