The Georgia Supreme Court (SCOGA) has rejected an appeal of the conviction and sentence give a Jackson County woman in the shooting death of her husband five years ago.
Eight of the nine justices ruled against Karen Michelle Whisnant. The ninth justice did not participate in the case.
Whisnant was convicted of murdering Michael Whisnant in February 2020.
