A Lumpkin County school bus driver is facing child sex charges following his recent arrest by the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO).
Donald Hupp, 39, is charged with grooming of a minor, sodomy and inappropriate sexual contact between a school employee and a child. The victim was not a student who was on Hupp’s bus route and the alleged incident did not take place at a school or on a bus.
In announcing the arrest in a video posted on Facebook, Lumpkin sheriff Stacy Jarrard said there may be other victims and asked parents of children who rode his bus to ask them if they know of anything that may be suspicious in nature.
