HCFR NEWS RELEASE:
“At approximately 4:00…Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) responded to the 4500 block of Eston Smith Road for reports of a residential fire.
First arriving units discovered a fully involved single family home on a basement. Crews began to extinguish the flames from the exterior of the residence. HCFR personnel shuttled water continuously, utilizing Tanker 7, until the bulk of the fire was extinguished.
Three adults were displaced and the American Red Cross was notified. The home is a total loss, and the cause is unknown at this time.
The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.”
