And, then there’s this from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office:
This case starts in the wee hours of February 4th at United Community Bank on Atlanta Highway. Two guys in a white Chevy van were seen on surveillance video tampering with the ATM. They left the area but returned about 30 minutes later and opened the ATM again leaving it open for several hours until they returned again later in the morning. Deputies put out a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) for the van.
Early the next morning, a deputy drove by the bank and noticed the white Chevy van sitting behind it. As the deputy approached the van, it took off. The driver drove down Atlanta Highway at speeds of 75-80 mph, passing cars, and driving on the wrong side of the road. But the van could not maintain those speeds and starts smoking. The driver lost control and crashed. The passenger tried to run away from the crash.
The two culprits, Yander Galue and Juan Carrero both from Lawrenceville, were checked out at a local hospital before being taken to jail.
