S. Hall man faces 300 more charges in child sex case

A Flowery Branch man arrested earlier this year on charges of sexual exploitation of
children now faces hundreds of additional charges related to the possession of child sex
abuse material (CSAM).

HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE:

Mario Jovon Lindsey, 19, initially was arrested on April 9, 2024, following a Hall County
Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) investigation prompted by cybertips from the Georgia Bureau of
Investigation (GBI) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. At that time,
following a search warrant executed at a residence on Parks Road, Lindsey was charged
with three felony counts of sexual exploitation of children. He was released from the Hall
County Jail on a bond of $8,850 on April 11.
The latest charges stem from the ongoing forensic processing of electronic devices seized
from Lindsey’s residence in April. Investigators discovered an additional 300 images of
young children engaged in sexually explicit activity on Lindsey’s laptop computer and cell
phone.
Lindsey was booked at the Hall County Jail on the latest charges Wednesday, August 14. He
is being held without bond at this time.”
