S. Hall man accused of dealing in drugs in Habersham

A week-long drug investigation by Habersham County Sheriff’s Office deputies led to the
arrest of a Hall County man early Thursday.

Jerald Dwayne Sanders, 55, of Flowery Branch is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, failure to obey stop sign, taillights/taillight lenses required, DUI, and driving while
license suspended.

Investigators say Sanders came to Habersham County with a quantity of meth to sell
and had been supplying large amounts of methamphetamine in Habersham and other
counties.

At the time of his arrest, they say Sanders was in possession of two ounces of methamphetamine and several thousand dollars in cash. Investigators say Sanders was dealing at “more than a mid-level.”
