The fourth suspect in a July 15 home invasion in Flowery Branch was arrested over the weekend, according to Flowery Branch Asst. Police Chief Todd Templeton.
Templeton said Monday officers responded to a “distress call” from a residence on Lorimar Court regarding an “unauthorized home entry and domestic dispute.”
FLOWERY BRANCH POLICE NEWS RELEASE:
“The resident reported that several individuals entered the home, made threats of physical harm, and pointed a firearm at them before fleeing.
Following the incident, investigators conducted an extensive inquiry,
initially leading to the identification and charging of three suspects:
Zachary Chandler, 38, Tara Chandler, 45, and Samuel Lopez, all from
Flowery Branch. Arrest warrants were issued for charges including
Home Invasion, Burglary, and Aggravated Assault. A fourth suspect
remained unidentified at that time.
As the investigation progressed, the fourth suspect, Giovanni Khiry
Hartsfield, 35, of Gainesville, was identified. (Saturday)…Hartsfield was located hiding in an apartment in Gainesville and taken into custody with the assistance of Hall County Sheriff’s Office
