Authorities in Georgia and South Carolina are continuing their search for a murder suspect wanted in connection with the death of a northeast Georgia man and there are reports that he may have been seen in Hall County.
The Anderson County, S.C., Sheriff’s Office says Daeshawn Wilson, 18, is accused of killing Jimmy Ramey of Rabun County whose body was discovered in South Carolina last week, several days after he disappeared a couple of weeks ago.
Detectives are urgently asking the public to check their vehicles and any surveillance cameras you may have, adding that the search extends from Upstate (South Carolina) into Georgia with reports that Wilson may have been spotted in Georgia in Hall County, Rabun County and the Toccoa area, where his truck was found.
Ramey originally went missing on February 18 after dropping his wife off at work and then never returning. Deputies found his body hidden in a wooded area on the suspect’s mother’s home property in South Carolina Wednesday afternoon.
