There were no serious injuries in two traffic accidents in Hall County Tuesday that had major impacts on traffic, according to reports release Thursday by the state patrol. One was on Candler Highway, the other on I-985.

Vehicle 1:
2022 White Honda CR-V
Driver: Paula Ramirez 48 YOA Female
Transported to the hospital for possible injury or complaint of injury.
Citation issued for failure to yield after stopping at a stop sign.
Passenger1: Jose Covarrubio 76 YOA Male
No injury reported.
Passenger 2: Juvenile transported to the hospital for possible injury or complaint of injury.
Vehicle 2:
2023 White Ram 3500
Driver: Daniel Havers 54 YOA Male
Possible injury or complaint of injury. Not transported.
Vehicle #1 was stopped at the stop sign on SR 332 (Poplar Springs Rd) at SR 60 (Candler Rd). Vehicle #2 was traveling south on SR 60 (Candler Rd). Vehicle #1 attempted to make a left turn onto SR 60 and failed to yield to Vehicle #2. Vehicle #2 struck the left side of Vehicle #1 with its front.
*****The preliminary details on the I-985 crash are as follows:
On March 26, 2025, at approximately 3:57 PM, Vehicle #1, #2, #3 were traveling northbound on I-985 in the left lane. Vehicles #2 and #3 stopped for heavy traffic ahead. The driver of Vehicle #1 was following too closely and struck the rear of Vehicle #2. After the initial impact, Vehicle #2 was pushed forward striking Vehicle #3. Vehicle #1 overturned onto its driver’s side coming to a final rest on the guardrail. All vehicles were towed and disabled. No life-threatening injuries were reported.
