“At approximately 8:50 (Saturday night) Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 3100 block of Poplar Springs Drive for reports of a residential fire. First arriving units found a two-story residence with heavy fire in and above the garage, beginning to extend to the rest of the home.
Crews utilized the deck gun located on top of the engine to knock down the bulk of the fire. Multiple hoses were deployed as personnel extinguished the remaining hot spots on the interior of the structure. A primary search was then conducted and was all clear.
There were no injuries on the scene and one resident was displaced. The flames did not extend to any near by homes. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.”
