Gainesville’s historic Piedmont Hotel, which was once owned by Confederate Gen. James Longstreet and his family, has reopened after an inside and out renovation that began earlier this year.
The building is now owned by the Longstreet Society and is home to its headquarters and the Longstreet Museum.
