A 23-year-old pedestrian who was killed Friday when she was struck by a pickup in Dahlonega has been identified. The state patrol said Monday the woman’s name is Angel Gabriel Rocha.
STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“…at 6:05pm, Troopers were dispatched to a pedestrian crash at the intersection of GA 9 and GA 60…
The investigation revealed that (the) pickup was traveling south on GA 9 when (Rocha) crossed into its path. The pedestrian was in a crosswalk (and) had a ‘do not cross’ signal and was wearing dark clothing.”
Rocha was from Dahlonega.
