UPDATE: One killed, one injured in Browns Bridge Rd. wreck

4:30 P.M. THURSDAY UPDATE:

One driver was killed, and another injured in head-on collision Thursday morning on Browns Bridge Road near Ash Circle.

“Patrol deputies with the Hall County Sheriffโ€™s Office (HCSO) and the agencyโ€™s Accident
Investigation Unit (AIU) responded to the scene just after 10 a.m.,” HCSO spokeswoman B.J. Williams said. “The victim, an adult male driver who was driving a Toyota Tundra, was pronounced dead at the scene.”

Williams said the other driver, who was operating a Ford F150, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville for treatment.

Charges are pending and other details on the crash, including identification of those involved, will be released following completion of the accident report, Williams added.
