A traffic accident overnight in Hall County Saturday left one person dead. That’s according to the state patrol’s holiday weekend traffic count.
A posting on X says “Hall County Sheriff investigated a single fatality accident at Southers Rd at Ledan Rd.”
Because the sheriff’s office investigated the wreck, no other information was available and likely will not be available until Tuesday when administrative offices reopen after the Labor Day weekend.
Meanwhile, the state patrol reports that as of noon Sunday, statewide, there had been at least six fatalities, with the one in Hall County being the only one in northeast Georgia.
