“On the afternoon of Nov. 27, 2022, Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped a car at Clarks Bridge and Lula Roads because the driver was holding (using) her cell phone while driving. Deputies then received a call indicating that the woman’s vehicle hit two mailboxes and a road sign on Clarks Bridge Road at Glade Farm Road.
Deputies went to the address the car was registered to in the 5000 block of Steve Black Road and found it behind the residence. The female driver, identified as Jennifer Lynn Wiley, 41, of Clermont, was not there. They obtained arrest warrants for the following charges.
- Criminal trespass (misdemeanor)
- Criminal trespass (misdemeanor)
- Striking fixed object (misdemeanor)
- Fleeing/attempting to elude police officer (misdemeanor)

The warrants were outstanding until Friday afternoon…when our Protective Transport Unit deputies picked her up from another jail in the state. She is now being held in the Hall County Jail on $3,700 bond.”
