What’s described by a school district spokesman as an “odd” post on social media directed at West Hall High School (WHHS) resulted in a late-night message Sunday to parents of children who attend the school.
“The school did not post anything to social media, but it did send a message to parents last night because law enforcement and the district had received reports/concerns about an odd social media post made by a student,” Hall County School District spokesman Stan Lewis said Monday morning. “However, the post did not reference a threat to the school. The student and their parents were contacted by the school, as well as law enforcement, and it is being addressed.”
The message was sent about midnight by West Hall principal Dr. Ley Hathcock.
