Oakwood: Developer petitions for 7 variances because of ‘lay of the land’

Declaring that the property’s “shape, size and topography substantially limit the buildable area,” the would-be developer of a piece of property in Oakwood has filed a variance request asking the city to allowing modification of development plans to adequately allow for placement of structures on the site.

The property is an 8.88-acre tract at 4180 Chamblee Road.

Vermeer Southeast Sales & Service, Inc. is requesting seven variances for the property. If approved, an outside storage building would be constructed on the site.
