The Oakwood City Council will consider a rezoning request when it meets Monday night that would affect property on Rafe Banks Drive.
Pattillo Industrial Real Estate is asking that a 12-acre tract in the 5400 block be rezoned from Light-Industrial to Heavy-Industrial.
And as previously reported, the council will consider a resolution calling for a stay on construction of that ICE detention/processing center that the federal government is planning in the city.
At the council’s February meeting, a dozen people spoke against the plans citing, among other things, traffic issues, community and public safety, and sewer capacity.
