There were traffic delays but no injuries as a result of a Winder Highway traffic accident Friday afternoon involving an overturned dump truck.
It happened about 1:00 but it was close to 3:00 before the truck was removed and the road completely cleared, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). The truck had overturned down an embankment.
“While the truck is down an embankment and there’s no debris in the roadway, law enforcement has partially closed Winder Highway,” a HCSO Traffic Alert read.
The driver of the truck was not injured. No other vehicles were involved.
