A car crashed into the dining area of an Oakwood restaurant Wednesday afternoon but there were no reported injuries, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). It occurred at Taco Madre on Mundy Mill Road about 3:30.
“According to the initial investigation, the driver, Ronaijah Ellington, 29, of Oakwood, was parked directly in front of the business,” HCSO spokesman Derreck Booth said. “Due to a mechanical issue, she applied additional force to the gas pedal. The car then accelerated through the front of the business and into the dining area.”
There were no customers in the building. No one, including Ellington and restaurant employees, reported injuries.
