GA. STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“A marked Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) patrol vehicle (SUV) was traveling west on SR 369 (Browns Bridge Road).
The driver, a Hall County Sheriff’s Office Deputy, received a call for service and activated his emergency equipment while entering the right turning lane near Ivey Road. The Deputy attempted to make a U-turn when the patrol vehicle was struck on the left side by a gray 2014 GMC Acadia traveling west.
Both vehicles were disabled and temporarily blocked the roadway. The roadway was quickly opened, and traffic was directed around the crash scene by Deputies.
There were no reported injuries from this crash (which occurred Saturday).”
