Drought conditions and coverage in Georgia this week remain unchanged from a week ago, while the level of Lake Lanier dropped another six inches.
The U.S. Drought Monitor (UADM) reported Thursday that the state remains drought-free except for a few counties in extreme northwest Georgia and several in southeast Georgia.
Each of the affected areas are in the “abnormally dry” category.
