NGMC Gville ready to start hiring nurses for new addition

Northeast Georgia Medical Cener (NGMC) Gainesville has scheduled a nurses hiring event next month for its new 11-story tower, which Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) President & CEO Carol Burrell said this week is on target for opening next February.

“Looking for a meaningful opportunity for your next full-time, part-time or PRN role? You’re invited to join Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) at The Vault for our Cardiac and Emergency Services nursing hiring event on June 13, 2024, where you can explore the roles available at our New Patient Tower at NGMC – Gainesville, opening February 2025.

At this event, we will be hiring registered nurses (RNs), EMTS and paramedics for the following departments:

  • Cardiac Care Unit (CCU)
  • Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CV ICU)
  • Woody Stewart Heart Failure Unit (WSHF)
  • Emergency Department (ED) – part of our Level I Trauma Center

Applicants must have an active RN or LPN license in the state of Georgia, a compact or multi-state license, be in the process of licensure or have the ability to sit for examination, as required by the role.

Hiring managers will be on-site, so you could be interviewed and given an offer on the day of the event!
