Northeast Georgia Health System’s (NGHS) new Medical Plaza 1 in Bethlehem opened Monday.
“Seeing this building come to fruition in a community that means so much to me is a special thing,” said Carol Burrell, president and CEO of NGHS. “I grew up in Barrow County, so knowing these services will be here for generations, with providers who bring their best every day, is a perfect picture of what we mean when we say NGHS is ‘Growing the Greater Good.’”
Medical Plaza 1 is a two-story, 34,000-square-foot medical office building located at 990 Loganville Highway, near the intersection of Carl-Bethlehem Road, which is easily accessible from Highway 316.
The building is the new home of Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) Family Health Associates – a primary care office that moved from its longtime home in downtown Winder. NGPG Orthopedic Surgery and NGPG Sports Medicine also relocated to Medical Plaza 1, along with Georgia Heart Institute.
