Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is the top site in the country in enrollments for the BOOMBOX clinical trial.
This study follows qualified patients who are treated with histotripsy, an innovative noninvasive procedure, for up to five years to help improve cancer care.
“Our dedicated research team recently celebrated enrollment of the program’s 50th patient at NGHS,” a NGHS Facebook post reads. “This achievement marks an important milestone in advancing innovative, non-invasive cancer care treatment options.”
