*Brenau University Galleries will host Chris Boyko’s solo exhibition Assembling the Masses, opening Thursday at 5:30. “Explore the unusual and bizarre elements of our world” through 19 large-scale oil paintings in the Presidents Gallery, with a reception and artist talk at 6:00. *Traffic in downtown Gainesville will be impacted by a special event in the late afternoon/early evening Thursday. It’s the annual Gainesville High School homecoming parade. It begins at 6:00 on the square.
