New details on arrest of 3rd suspect in Flowery Branch drive-by shooting

A third suspect in a Flowery Branch drive-by shooting last Spring that left one person wounded was picked up in DeKalb County, a Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) spokeswoman said Friday.

Alejandro Martinez, 17, was returned to Hall County Wednesday by deputies with the HCSO Transport Team to face five counts of aggravated assault. The incident occurred at a Flowery Branch residence and left one person wounded. Police said at the time a third person might have been involved.

His arrest was revealed Thursday but not where it took place.
