Ground has been broken in Banks County for a cold storage facility that is expected to add 70 jobs to the county’s workforce.
Banks Cold Storage will build the 210,620-square-foot plant near Commerce. Company officials say its “cutting-edge design” will feature the latest refrigeration and freezing technology available in the cold storage industry. Completion is scheduled for mid-2025.
