Nearly 500 Gville water customers warned of possible outages

Some Gainesville water customers on the northside of town will likely experience intermittent and scattered service outages overnight Friday.

CITY OF GAINESVILLE ADVISORY:

OVERNIGHT WATER INTERRUPTION SET OCT. 17-18 | To allow Gainesville Water Resources to move forward with improvements to the Riverside Water Treatment Plant, approximately 125 water customers along the following roadways will likely experience intermittent and scattered service outages between 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17 and 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18:

At the same time, intermittent and scattered service outages may also impact approximately 370 customers along the following roadways:

📍 Enota Avenue NE

📍 South Enota Drive

📍 Kensington Place

📍 Northwood Circle

📍 Dunn Drive

📍 Enota Avenue

📍 Burns Place

📍 Burns Drive

📍 Habersham Drive

📍 Wyngate Drive

📍 Riverside Drive (from Morningside to Blue Ridge drives)

📍 Park Hill Drive (from Riverside to South Enota drives)

📍 Enota Avenue (from Thompson Bridge Road to South Enota Drive)

Customers are urged to take necessary precautions to prevent damage to equipment requiring water. 

Those traveling in the area are urged to drive carefully, follow all detour signs, and watch for construction workers and equipment during this time.”
