Georgia gas prices began retreating this past week following the governor’s suspension of the state sales tax on gas but, nationwide, they were up ten cents.
The average price of a gallon in Georgia is down eleven cents to $3.58. In Gainesville, the price is $3.62, a dime cheaper than last Monday.
Meantime, AAA says that in the now-month since the Iran war began, the national average has climbed by a dollar.
