No injuries were reported as the result of a mobile home fire in northern Hall County Thursday but two people were left homeless, according to Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR).
HCFR NEWS RELEASE:
“At approximately 9:15 am, Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 6100 block of Mt. Vernon Road for reports of a residential fire. First arriving crews discovered a fully involved mobile home, detached garage and out building.
Crews worked quickly to establish water flow and begin a defensive attack on the flames. The flames were knocked down and personnel began to seek out hot spots.
The American Red Cross was notified for two displaced adult residents. The structures are considered a total loss. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.”
