A Gainesville man was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle crash on the northside of town. Police say it happened just after 9:30 a.m. at Limestone Parkway and Huntington Drive.
GAINESVILLE POLICE NEWS RELEASE:
“A silver Honda Civic, driven by Barry Kreisler (78 year old male of Gainesville, GA), was allegedly traveling southbound on Limestone Pkwy and making a left turn towards Huntington Dr. The left turn was made in front of a silver Ford Econoline Van that was traveling northbound on Limestone Pkwy and driven by Elix Hernandez (32 year old male of Lawrenceville, GA).
All people involved in the crash were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Unfortunately, Mr. Kreisler succumbed to his injuries and did not survive. Please keep everyone involved in your thoughts and prayers.
