HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE:
“Investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) are searching for a suspect who robbed the Texaco Food Mart on Thompson Bridge Road in Murrayville just before 12 a.m. Wednesday, October 18.
When HCSO deputies arrived at the scene, a store clerk told them a male suspect had brandished a handgun and demanded money. The clerk, who was in the process of closing the store for the night, said she turned over the cash bag to the suspect. The suspect then left the store on foot.
The suspect, who was dressed in all black clothing, is described as a young white male with dark eyes. He is approximately 5’8” tall and weighs an estimated 175 lbs.”
The store clerk was not injured.
