A South Hall man remained in the Hall County Jail Thursday morning following his arrest Tuesday on 14 counts and a manhunt involving several state and local authorities.
FLOWERY BRANCH POLICE NEWS RELEASE:
“…(It all began when) Officers with the Flowery Branch Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic offense.
…the driver fled and a brief vehicle pursuit ensued. The vehicle (however soon) left the roadway and collided with a fence at a location in Oakwood. The driver, identified as Jessie Lee Wilson, 41, of Flowery
Branch, fled from the scene on foot.
Law enforcement officers from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Oakwood Police Department, and Georgia State Patrol converged on the area to assist Flowery Branch Officers. Wilson was quickly
located with the use of a drone and subsequently taken into custody.
