A 19-year-old Gainesville motorcyclist, Alexis Robles Camacho, was recovering Sunday morning from injuries suffered in a two-vehicle accident Saturday morning, according to the state patrol.
Troopers say Camacho and an SUV were on Poplar Springs Road approaching Sloan Mill Road when a third vehicle slowed to make a turn.
Their report says Camacho was following too closely and struck the rear of the SUV.
The SUV driver was not injured.
