HCSO NARRATIVE:
“A moped driver was injured in a two-vehicle collision on HF Reed Industrial Parkway early Wednesday.
Investigators from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Accident Investigation Unit (AIU) responded to the accident scene just before 6 a.m.
The investigation at the scene determined Raul Jr Dianas, 24, of Auburn, GA, was traveling westbound on HF Reed Industrial Parkway and attempted to make a left turn on Aloha Way. Mr. Dianas turned into the path of David Russell Amoson, 56, of Flowery Branch, who was operating his moped in the eastbound lane of HF Reed Industrial Parkway.
Mr. Amoson was ejected from the moped. He was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville for treatment of injuries to his left leg.
Mr. Dianas was cited for failure to yield while turning left.”
