It would appear from the limited information available that so far, it’s been a relative quiet holiday weekend around Gainesville.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) did note on today’s daily activity report getting a report of animal cruelty. This address listed on the report is the 4200 block of Hunter Road and the incident is said ot have occurred between 10:00 p.m. Saturday and 3:00 p.m. yesterday.

All of this information does not include reports from the Gainesville, Flowery Branch and Oakwood police departments as well as other agencies which might have booked people into the Hall County Jail.

Meanwhile, as of 6:00 this morning, ten traffic fatalities had been reported to the state patrol since the holiday count began at 6:00 Thursday evening, none in northeast Georgia.

Detailed reports are not likely to be available from any of the local agencies before government offices reopen on Tuesday.
