Lyman Hall principal named Principal of the Year by national organization

“The Hall County School District is proud to announce that Lyman Hall Elementary School Principal, Angel Rodriguez, has been honored with the prestigious Principal of the Year award by the Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (ALAS). This remarkable achievement recognizes Principal Rodriguez’s outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to educational excellence.

The Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents, a national organization committed to promoting the continued development and success of Latino administrators in education, has selected Rodriguez for this distinguished award after a rigorous evaluation process. Rodriguez’s visionary leadership, unwavering advocacy for students, and exceptional contributions to the educational community set him apart as a leader of excellence.

Under Rodriguez’s guidance, Lyman Hall Elementary School has achieved remarkable academic growth and fostered an inclusive and nurturing learning environment for students, staff, and families. Most recently, the school has made incredible gains in identifying Gifted English Language Learners. Rodriguez’s innovative approach to education, coupled with his deep commitment to diversity and inclusion, has enriched the lives of countless students and has had a lasting impact on the school community.
