Cleveland’s longtime fire chief is stepping down. Ricky Pruett has served in that capacity for 42 years.
WRWH reports that this was disclosed at Monday night’s city council meeting.
Chief Pruitt’s resignation is effective July 31. City Manager Kevin Harris will handle day-to-day operations of the department until Pruitt’s successor is named.
