In our broadcast high school football game of the week, The Lakeview Academy Lions made history by defeating the Athens Christian Eagles 38-11 for their eighth win of the season. This is the first time that eight games have been won in a season since the program’s inception.
Lakeview led for most of the game, scoring touchdowns in every quarter for a total of five, and one field goal in the second quarter. Meanwhile, Athens Christian scored a field goal in the first quarter, and a touchdown with a two-point conversion, late in the second quarter.
Next week, the Lions wrap up the regular season at home against the Loganville Christian Academy Lions before starting the state playoffs on November 8th, which will be broadcast on 97.5 Glory FM.
