Local law enforcement officers recently went shopping with a bunch of children looking for back to school supplies.
Cops & Kids Go Back to School is an annual event sponsored by Gainesville/Hall County FOP Lodge 41 Georgia. The lodge identified some local families who needed a little help and then took the kids shopping for school supplies at Target and new sneakers at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Public safety personnel from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Gainesville Police Department, and Georgia Department of Natural Resources accompanied the families as they shopped.
