Barrow County will soon be home to a new production line for Johns Manville, a fiberglass insulation manufacturer that has deep roots in the Barrow community.
Construction on the line is expected to begin early next year, with the production line becoming fully operational in mid-2027.
The new production line will create more than 30 jobs, including operators, maintenance technicians and warehouse employees. When this project is complete. The plant will then employ more than 350 people in Winder.
